1. OUR SHIPPING PHILOSOPHY: DELIVERING MORE THAN A PACKAGE

At 2 Bone Apparel, we believe the journey of your order matters as much as the destination. Every package we ship carries more than streetwear—it carries a piece of our soul, a fragment of the passion that lives down to our bones. From our studio in Fullerton to your doorstep, we treat each shipment as a sacred exchange: your trust for our craft.

This policy outlines how we honor that exchange—with speed, care, and transparency. Because when you feel that hunger for self-expression, you shouldn't have to wait long to wear it.

Note: Shipping times are estimates only. We are not liable for carrier delays beyond our control, including weather events, customs processing, national emergencies, or carrier service disruptions.

2. ORDER PROCESSING: WHERE PASSION MEETS PRECISION

Before your order ships, it passes through hands that care. Our processing timeline and practices ensure every piece leaves our Fullerton studio with intention:

  • Standard Processing Time: Orders are prepared for shipment within 1 to 3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays). Each order receives personal inspection—every stitch checked, every garment folded with care, and a handwritten thank-you note included—because you deserve to feel seen, not processed.
  • Order Cutoff Times: Orders placed before 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) on business days typically begin processing the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM PST or on weekends/holidays begin processing the next business day.
  • High-Volume Periods: During limited product drops, holiday seasons, or promotional events, processing may extend to 5 business days. We will notify you via email if your order experiences delays beyond our standard timeline.
  • Order Modifications and Cancellations: You may request changes to your order or full cancellation within 2 hours of placement by emailing [Insert an Email Address] with your order number. Once an order status changes to "Preparing for Shipment," modifications are no longer possible. No cancellations are permitted after shipment confirmation has been sent. If your order has already shipped, you must follow our Return Policy for refunds or exchanges.

3. DOMESTIC SHIPPING (UNITED STATES)

Shipping Options and Pricing

We offer three domestic shipping tiers to match your urgency and budget:

  • Standard Shipping: Delivers within 4 to 7 business days for a flat rate of $5.99. Orders totaling $100 or more before tax qualify for free Standard Shipping automatically applied at checkout. This service includes full tracking visibility and does not require a signature upon delivery.
  • Expedited Shipping: Delivers within 2 to 3 business days for $12.99. Includes full tracking and is ideal for when you need your apparel quickly but don't require next-day arrival. No signature required.
  • Overnight Shipping: Delivers within 1 business day for $24.99. Available only to addresses within the contiguous United States. Orders must be placed before 12:00 PM PST to qualify for same-day dispatch. Requires a signature upon delivery for security. Not available for P.O. boxes or military addresses.

Additional Domestic Details

  • Free Shipping Threshold: The $100 minimum for free Standard Shipping applies to merchandise subtotal only—taxes and previous discounts excluded.
  • P.O. Boxes and Military Addresses: Only Standard Shipping via USPS is available. Expedited and Overnight services cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
  • Alaska and Hawaii: Standard Shipping is available at the standard $5.99 rate or free on orders over $100. Delivery may take 7 to 10 business days due to geographic distance. Expedited and Overnight services are not available to these states.
  • Carrier Selection: We partner primarily with USPS and FedEx to ensure reliable delivery. Carrier assignment is determined by destination efficiency and service level—you cannot select a specific carrier at checkout.

4. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: CONNECTING SOULS ACROSS BORDERS

Destinations We Serve

We proudly ship to over 60 countries worldwide, with special focus on serving our Latinx comunidad across North and Central America. Available destinations include Canada, Mexico, and Latin American nations; the United Kingdom and European Union member states; Australia, Japan, South Korea, and select countries across Asia and the Middle East. Not all countries appear at checkout due to customs complexity or shipping restrictions—we continuously expand our reach.

Shipping Options and Pricing

  • International Standard Shipping: Delivers within 10 to 21 business days for $18.99. Orders over $150 before tax qualify for free Standard International Shipping. Tracking is provided but may show limited updates while packages transit between international hubs.
  • International Express Shipping: Delivers within 5 to 10 business days for $34.99. Includes comprehensive tracking with regular updates throughout the journey. Recommended for time-sensitive orders or high-value purchases.

Customs, Duties, and Import Fees

  • You are solely responsible for all customs duties, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), brokerage fees, or other import charges levied by your country. These fees are not included in your checkout total and are separate from shipping costs.
  • We declare the full retail value of your order on all customs documentation. We do not undervalue shipments to avoid duties—this practice is illegal and violates our commitment to ethical commerce.
  • If you refuse delivery due to unexpected fees, you forfeit eligibility for refunds or store credit. We cannot reimburse shipping costs, duties, or taxes on refused packages.
  • Customs processing may delay delivery by 3 to 14 business days. We cannot expedite customs clearance or intervene in customs decisions. If customs authorities require additional information, they will contact you directly using the phone number or email provided at checkout.
  • Certain countries restrict or heavily tax imported apparel. We are not liable if your package is seized, destroyed, or returned by customs authorities. Please verify your country's import regulations before ordering.

5. TRACKING YOUR ORDER: YOUR JOURNEY, VISIBLE

Within one hour of shipment, you will receive an email containing your tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking portal. Domestic shipments typically provide real-time scan updates. International shipments may experience tracking gaps while moving between countries or undergoing customs inspection—updates will resume once the package clears customs and enters the destination country's postal system.

If your tracking status shows "Out for Delivery," allow 24 to 48 hours for final delivery before reporting issues. If no tracking updates appear 48 business hours after shipment confirmation, contact us at [Insert an Email Address] with your order number for investigation.

6. DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Commitments

  • We guarantee accurate shipping to the address you provide at checkout.
  • Every package is secured in branded, recyclable packaging with protective materials and our signature bone-shaped thank-you card.
  • We promptly investigate and resolve lost or damaged shipments per Section 8 of this policy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Address Accuracy: Verify all address details—street name spelling, apartment/suite numbers, ZIP/postal codes—before completing checkout. We are not responsible for reshipment fees resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.
  • Delivery Acceptance: Once a carrier marks a package as "Delivered," responsibility transfers to you—even if you have not physically received the item. If theft occurs after delivery confirmation, file a police report within 24 hours and contact us within 48 hours. We will assist with carrier claims, but cannot guarantee replacement.
  • Weather and Natural Disasters: We do not refund shipping costs for delays caused by hurricanes, wildfires, blizzards, or other acts of nature beyond carrier control.
  • High-Value Orders: For orders exceeding $200, we strongly recommend shipping to a secure location (business address, package locker) or selecting a service with signature confirmation to prevent loss.

7. GIFT SHIPPING: WRAPPING INTENTION IN EVERY BOX

Sending 2 Bone Apparel as a gift? We honor that gesture with thoughtful presentation:

  • Add a gift message during checkout—we will handwrite it on our signature bone-themed stationery and include it with your order.
  • Packing slips never display prices—only item descriptions and order numbers—to preserve the surprise.
  • Marketing inserts or promotional materials are excluded from gift shipments unless you request otherwise.
  • Gift receipts are available upon request. Email us within 24 hours of order placement.

Note: While we strive for timely delivery, we cannot guarantee arrival by specific dates (birthdays, holidays) due to variables outside our control. For time-sensitive gifts, select Expedited or Express shipping and place your order at least 7 days in advance.

8. LOST, DAMAGED, OR STOLEN PACKAGES: OUR COMMITMENT TO RESOLUTION

Lost in Transit

A domestic package is considered lost if tracking shows no movement for 7 or more business days after shipment. An international package is considered lost after 21 business days without movement. To report a lost package:

  2. We will immediately file a trace request with the carrier.
  3. If the carrier confirms the package as lost after their investigation period (typically 10 business days), we will either reship your entire order at no cost or issue a full refund, including original shipping fees.

All lost package reports must be submitted within 30 days of the original shipment date.

Damaged in Transit

If your package arrives damaged:

  • Do not discard the item or packaging carriers that require photographic evidence of both for claims.
  • Email us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos showing the damaged item and original packaging, plus your tracking number and description of damage.
  • We will file a damage claim with the carrier and expedite a replacement shipment to you at no cost. You will not be required to return the damaged item.

Stolen After Delivery

If tracking shows "Delivered" but you never received the package:

  • File a police report within 24 hours of noticing the theft.
  • Email us the police report number within 48 hours of the "Delivered" status update.
  • We will investigate using available carrier resources and, at our discretion, offer 50% store credit toward a replacement order. Full replacements cannot be guaranteed for porch piracy incidents, as liability transfers to the recipient upon delivery confirmation.

9. BACKORDERS AND PRE-ORDERS

  • Backordered Items: If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will email you within 24 hours with options to wait for restock (typically 14–21 days), select a substitute item, or cancel for a full refund.
  • Pre-Orders: Items available for pre-order are clearly marked at checkout with an estimated ship date. Payment is processed at the time of order. We will ship immediately upon the item's arrival at our Fullerton studio. Pre-orders may be canceled up to 72 hours before the scheduled ship date.

10. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

We cannot ship to countries under a U.S. trade embargo, including Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Cuba. We do not ship to freight forwarders, package consolidation services, or temporary addresses such as hotels without prior written approval. Expedited and Overnight services are unavailable for P.O. boxes.

11. SUSTAINABILITY IN SHIPPING

Our commitment to community extends to the planet. Every shipment reflects our values:

  • Eco-Conscious Packaging: 100% recyclable poly-mailers, soy-based ink printing, and minimal plastic use.
  • Carbon Neutrality: We offset 100% of shipping emissions through verified reforestation projects in California's fire-affected regions.
  • Local Love: Fullerton residents may request studio pickup by emailing us—skip shipping fees entirely and briefly meet founder Hector Torres by appointment.

12. POLICY UPDATES

Carrier rates and regulations change frequently. We reserve the right to update shipping costs, timeframes, or available services without prior notice. The most current options and pricing will always display at checkout. The "February 4, 2026" at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
